Proud at Repsol Group

Since 2020, we have had a group of volunteers working towards a common goal: equality for the LGBTQI+ community in the workplace, generating a safe space that contributes to attracting and retaining talent, guaranteeing the well-being of the Company's people, and equal opportunities regardless of their sex, gender, orientation, or sexual identity, in any area and location of the company.

The group is open, voluntary, and includes both people from the LGBTQI+ community and allies who support the same objectives. Currently, Proud at Repsol is made up of nearly 600 people in Spain, Brazil, the United States, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Canada, and Trinidad and Tobago, as well as representatives from different areas of the company. If you want to contribute to the real inclusion of all people, join us at proud@repsol.com.

Check out the testimonials of the participants in the Proud at Repsol initiative and discover the activities they have carried out over the last few months.

The Proud group is made up of people from different countries. In addition to Spain, we are in the United States, Peru, Portugal, and Brazil. As a collective, we carry out global actions at the company level and local actions tailored to the particularities and idiosyncrasies of each country.

Fostering diversity at all our facilities

We promote information and counseling points on diversity and inclusion in all our facilities. These points provide specific information on the company's equal opportunity and diversity policies. We also carry out informative, educational, and advisory actions on LGBTQI+ equality and diversity in Brazil, the United States, Spain, and Portugal.

The maintenance shutdowns at our industrial complexes welcome hundreds of people who come to work from different contractors. This is an ideal time to raise awareness among our own personnel and those in our value chain about the company's policies on diversity and the need to act with respect towards differences.

The experts who have attended these information points have been the reference entities of each local environment: ALAS A Coruña, Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO, Colectivo GALACTYCO, H20 Tarragona, and WADO Ciudad Real.

We are official sponsors of MADO 2024

We will participate with different actions such as powering the organization's float with our 100% renewable fuels or providing our WiBLE vehicles as the official vehicle of MADO. We will also be present in the organization's different communication media as well as the stages located in the city center, on which our commercial will be projected in which we share our claim "All energies for everyone."

A committed executive team

We promote diversity management through the Diversity and Inclusion Committee formed by senior management. This group identifies, promotes, and monitors different initiatives related to these matters. The company's diversity and inclusion commitments are included in the Sustainability Plan and the Strategic Plan.

REDI

In 2019 from Spain, we joined REDI, an association of businesses and professionals whose common goal is to foster an inclusive and respectful environment in organizations that value talent regardless of their gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. We have been on its Board of Directors since 2021. We are also part of the REDI to connect employees Core team, a working and networking forum within REDI to connect LGBTI employee groups and allies of associated companies.

LGBTQI+ Non-Discrimination Standards of Conduct

We signed the "Standards of Conduct for Business: Tackling Discrimination against LGBTQI+ people," promoted by the United Nations and Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, whose aim is to help companies to examine their current policies and practices, while they establish new strategies to respect and promote the human rights of the LGBTQI+ community.
