Video transcript "What does it take to be a Senior Hydrogen Business Development Analyst?"

I studied forestry engineering, specializing in industrial engineering, at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and did a master's degree in energy resources at the University of Texas at Austin.

Now I am in the Hydrogen Division in Business Development, handling market intelligence and also Business Development. Before that, I was in Corporate Strategy.

Knowing that these projects are moving forward, that they have specific partners, that they have a specific name, a specific design is the most interesting thing for me. The most important thing is to identify what your passion is in order to come up with the plan that will lead you to achieving your goals.

My work has three fundamental pillars. The first is market intelligence, which is the analysis of energy markets -both traditional and low carbon-, which is the step prior to the second pillar, which would be business development, which is bringing that market intelligence to life. And finally, everything I mentioned above relates to the third pillar, which would be the hydrogen strategy, which in turn feeds the low-carbon strategy and the Repsol group-wide strategy.

I studied advertising and public relations. After studying that I specialized in user experience design, in digital design. It has just as much to do with the design of digital solutions; of web applications, as it does with the design of physical experiences; for example, what the service station of the future should be like, what you should see when you walk in, what your experience should be like when you come into contact with the brand, with Repsol, or with the employees. That later you go out and people are using the products that you're thinking about, that you're designing. Myself included.

It has to be someone who is very curious, who likes to ask questions, who is not satisfied with what they see, who is able to listen to complex problems and not get scared, right? Someone who likes to break things down little by little, and most importantly, someone who is able to work in a team. In a team, and more importantly, multidisciplinary teams. That way, they don't lose that curiosity and they will always have to be learning new things. They should have a good foundation in the area they like and learn more about it without rushing, because there is a long way to go in this field.

Video transcript "What does it take to be a... Product Design Scientist at Repsol Technology Lab?"

I studied aerospace engineering at the Politécnica de Valencia and then I did a Master's degree in Competition, which is called MotoSport, oriented towards joining a Formula 1 team and, well, then I returned to Spain to do a PhD in Propulsive Systems.

In my job, basically what we do is study decarbonization options for mobility, especially renewable fuels. And I, in particular, am involved in a project, that I love talking about, which is the topic of MotoGP racing, for the Repsol Honda team. And well, for next year we have to make a fuel with 40% renewable content. For me it's always a challenge, because whenever I get to the office I don't know exactly how the day is going to go, what challenges I'm going to face. Being able to see the result of all the work we are doing, because I know that I am developing a product that in a few days will be enjoyed by the people at the service stations or that I - as a MotoGP fan - will be able to see at the races.

Well, I think you have to be a very organized person, especially because of the amount of work that we have at certain times, and because you have to work in a team. I think you should be curious, you should try to do research, you should look for things related to the area of work you want to focus on, but you should not get lazy.
