Repsol makes new gas discovery in Algeria

- The discovery in the Tan Emellel Sud-Ouest-2 (TESO-2) exploration well is the third find in the Sud-Est Illizi block.
- Repsol (52.5%) is the operator leading the consortium that has made the discovery in partnership with Enel (27.5%) and GDF-SUEZ (20.0%).
- Sonatrach will participate, with a 51% stake, in the development and production phases.
- In Algeria, Repsol is currently active in one production operation (Tin-Fouyé Tabankort), one development project (Reggane Nord) and two exploration blocks (Sud-Est Illizi and Boughezoul).
