Our recycled plastics among the PRSE Awards finalists

The winners of the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2025 will be announced in April, and we're finalists in four categories that recognize innovation, advances, and applications for mechanically recycled plastics.

From April 1 to 2, the Plastics Recycling Show Europe will be held in Amsterdam, where we will showcase our sustainable polyolefins, Repsol Reciclex®. During this event, the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2025 will be held, and our company is nominated in four of the seven categories.

Repsol is the producer with the highest number of products as finalists in this edition. Specifically, our finalists are:

• Best Recycled Plastic Packaging: Our lubricant containers incorporate Repsol Reciclex ® HDPE in their middle and outer layers.
• Best Recycled Plastic Product for Home and Leisure: For the manufacture of park furniture and children's entertainment, alongside our client Durplastics, with a Repsol Reciclex ® HDPE grade that contains 85% recycled plastic.
• Best Recycled Plastic Product Used in Automotive and Electrical Products: With a Repsol Reciclex ® polypropylene containing 50% recycled plastic, used in a hand blender, along with a household appliance manufacturer.
• Best Innovation in Product Technology: For our Repsol Reciclex® metallocene, for stretch film with 80% recycled plastic.

Innovation in recycled plastics is important for the future. The circular economy and a stable regulatory framework form the context in which solutions and new products must be developed.
