For the seventh consecutive year, we have attended the leading event in Europe for pharmaceutical packaging and medical devices: Pharmapack, where we have shown our latest developments, highlighting bio-based polyolefins and our updated portfolio.

During the visit to the Sines Industrial Complex, Portugal's Minister of Economy, Pedro Reis, was welcomed by Antonio Brufau and Josu Jon Imaz. Additionally, the president of the Sines Municipal Chamber accompanied the delegation that visited Portugal’s largest industrial investment in Portugal in the last 10 years.

We have once again participated in the 12th edition of the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) 2024, held at Allerpark, Wolfsburg. This fair, known for bringing together the main players in the automotive industry, has been the perfect stage to showcase our latest innovations in sustainable mobility solutions.

We collaborate with ECI Group in the licensing agreement with Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy & Chemical Co., Ltd. (YECC), part of the Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group, China’s fourth-largest oil producer, to deliver a copolymer plant project using ECI Group’s proprietary hybrid reactor technology.

From October 1, our business changes its name and is now called Repsol Materials. This change responds to the increasingly international orientation of our markets. Likewise, the names of two departments of our chemical business also change.

During the fair, we showcased our innovative polyolefin solutions for both exterior and interior automotive parts at our stand. We also presented the different ranges of Repsol Impacto®, Repsol Isplen, and Repsol Reciclex® designed to meet the industry's demands for high impact, rigidity, and sustainability in automotive materials. These materials are paving the way towards a more sustainable and efficient future in mobility.

We reaffirm our commitment to the circular economy at the Plastics Recycling Show Europe 2024, the reference fair for the plastics recycling sector in Europe.

The valve guard, designed to meet all high standards of quality and mechanical properties, is a safety piece that protects the bottle's valve. Incorporating 10% recycled material reduces the piece's carbon footprint by 6% compared to virgin material.

We presented our recycled polyol along with other new products at the Utech trade fair, the leading event for the global polyurethanes industry, held in Maastricht from April 23 to 25.
