Our Growth Plans Presented to the Minister of Economy During a Visit to the Sines Industrial Complex

During the visit to the Sines Industrial Complex, Portugal's Minister of Economy, Pedro Reis, was welcomed by Antonio Brufau and Josu Jon Imaz. Additionally, the president of the Sines Municipal Chamber accompanied the delegation that visited Portugal’s largest industrial investment in Portugal in the last 10 years.

The Minister of Economy, Pedro Reis, visited our industrial complex in Sines to monitor the progress of our Alba project, which involves the construction of two new factories for 100% recyclable polymer. A delegation led by, Antonio Brufau, and Josu Jon Imaz, welcomed the minister's party. 

Considered a National Interest Project (PIN), the Alba project represents the Portugal’s largest industrial investment in the past decade, with an investment of 657 million euros. The project also includes the construction of the largest approved electrolyzer for renewable hydrogen production.

Authorities visited new factories and two self-consumption renewable energy units under construction. These units, part of Sines' industrial decarbonization efforts, include a 6.6 MWh photovoltaic plant, commissioned in 2023, and another 20.9 MWh plant set to start in late 2025.
